HO WEST DISTRICT ASSEMBLY HOLDS STAFF DURBAR

The Ho West District Assembly has held its staff durbar on Monday, May 13th, 2024, at the District Assembly Hall. The purpose of the meeting was to provide a platform for open dialogue, allowing staff to address issues affecting their work and to receive informations from management that will help enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the delivery of services.

The District Chief Executive, Honorable Ernest Victor Apau, expressed his appreciation for staff’s hard work and encouraged them to continue working as a team to ensure improvement of performance. He emphasized the importance of punctuality and advised staff to improve upon their work attitude.

The District Coordinating Director, Mr. Wisdom Kporngor, addressed various critical issues affecting the organization. Among the issues discussed were lateness to work and absenteeism, functionality of the substructures, poor sanitation at market centers, staff welfare, and the implementation of time sheets for field officers.

The Human Resource Manager, Mr. Bismark Von Golloh, educated staff on communication channels, the code of conduct, grievance procedures, and discipline within the local government service. He urged staff to adhere to rules and regulations which will guide them to play their roles effectively in the service.

There was an open forum session where concerns were raised by some staff. The concerns were appropriately addressed by the District Coordinating Director.
